Social Distancing Crowns, The New Toucan Sam, Oprah’s Giant Cabbage [5/18/2020-5/24/2020]

  • Burger King is testing social distancing “crowns” at its restaurants in Germany. The massive head gear is an amusing way to keep patrons six feet apart while dining in restaurants.

  • Oprah Winfrey recently shared a picture on her instagram of cabbage the size of her torso, literally. The caption simply read: “The Lockdown has not stopped green things from growing,” and she isn’t lying. Is there anything this woman can't do? You can view the cabbage here.

  • Froot Loops has changed the look of Toucan Sam, the cereal's iconic mascot, and many are not happy about it. In fact, many fans have taken to Twitter to show their disappointment and offer some critiques. Check out the new Toucan Sam here, and let us know what you think. Here's to hoping Chester Cheetah isn’t going anywhere!

  • Sam’s Club’s new sriracha-flavored almonds are the hottest snack food to hit the big box store in a long time. What makes these nuts  so unique is that unlike other sriracha-flavored nuts, these almonds were made in partnership with OG rooster sauce makers, Huy Fong. The 24oz package costs around $11, and is worth every penny.

  • When we heard that Jeni’s Splendid Ice cream was coming out with a grey ice cream, our minds immediately went to the scene in the movie Steel Magnolias when the ladies pondered how one would make “grey icing” for an armadillo cake. This ice cream is the result of mixing natural fruit and vegetable juices together to get a taste that takes you to someplace tropical. “Sunshine” tastes like “sunshine on a cloudy day” and it’s exactly what we all need right now.
