Move over, Martha Stewart! There is a new lifestyle brand in town, and its name is KFC. That’s right, the chicken giant has done it again, first with the chicken-scented fireplace log, and now with footwear! KFC and Crocs have teamed up to create a clog for the chicken lover who cares about comfort. The limited-edition shoe is set to be released in Spring 2020 and can be decorated with chicken-scented drumstick charms to amp up your style. They can be yours for $60.
In honor of Presidents’ Day, Business Insider has compiled a list of every president's favorite food. While you may share an affinity for some of these, others might have you turning green. Squirrel soup made the list – not once, but twice! Other favorites include bacon, grilled cheese, fast food, and many dishes involving seafood. While most of our commanders in chief love savory foods, a few enjoyed sweets like ice cream and pancakes.
Sprite has released a drink that promises big flavor. Sprite Ginger and Sprite Ginger Zero are described as having “the classic taste of Sprite with a hint of ice-cold ginger flavor.” Sprite Ginger will join the brand’s three other flavors: Sprite Cherry, Sprite Lymonade, and Lemon-Lime Sprite (each with its own zero sugar option). You can find Sprite Ginger Zero in stores now.
A Metro Detroit-based Soul Food restaurant serves Shoebox Lunches with facts about African American History – and not just during African American History Month, but every day. Beans and Cornbread owner, Patrick Coleman, says he got the idea from his grandmother, who would pack up lunches in old shoe boxes. Each box is printed with facts about “trailblazing African Americans” like Katherine Johnson and Satchel Paige. Sharing good inspirational stories and good food is his goal, and he is executing it beautifully. Our very own Marketing Manager, Nicole frequents the restaurant and can't say enough!
A video of someone bathing in a dish tub at a Wendy’s restaurant in Greenville, Michigan was posted to TikTok, and quickly went viral. The 23-second video shows a young man, who doesn’t appear to be wearing clothes sitting in the giant tub filled with bubbles. A second person enters the shot fully dressed in a Wendy’s uniform (headset and all) indicating that the video was taken at the restaurant. The owners of the Wendy’s in question released a statement indicating that every person who participated in creating the video had been fired and that the restaurant had been promptly cleaned and sanitized. Yikes!
