The world's largest candy department store opened on Saturday at American Dream, the mega-mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. IT’SUGAR is 22,000 square feet and three floors of sweetness. The store includes a 60-foot tall replica of the Statue of Liberty covered in jelly beans, a 5,000 square-foot lollipop garden, and over 10,000 different choices of candy.
Replay Lincoln Park, an arcade bar, has transformed into the Yule Ball from Harry Potter’s The Goblet of Fire. A new study finds that adding exercise suggestions to food labels may help people make healthier choices when it comes to snacking. Physical Activity Calorie Equivalent (PACE) labels would include a food calorie count and the amount of time it would take to burn off that food. The study showed that people consumed 65 fewer calories per meal when provided with this information.
