Pickle Bouquet, $200 Cheddar, Paris Hilton Cooks on YouTube [1/13/2020 – 1/19/2020]
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and Grillo’s has just the thing for the pickle lover in your life. Last week, the pickle maker posted a picture of a delicious bouquet made almost entirely of their pickled products. Unfortunately, the bouquet isn't available for sale, but with a little imagination, a few skewers, and an assortment of pickled treats, you can make one, too!
Good Humor wants to make all of your childhood confectionary dreams come true. Earlier this week, the ice cream maker announced that they were bringing back the popular WWE ice cream bars. The new bars will have wrestling legends like Macho Man Randy Savage, and new stars like John Cena. They will also be without a stick, technically making them an ice cream sandwich. You can find them in your local freezer section next month.
Dr. Oz is telling people to cancel breakfast in 2020, stating that eating breakfast is just an old "advertisement ploy." He goes on to say that people who feel hungry shortly after waking up aren't actually hungry, that they are experiencing "food withdrawals." He is just one of many health professionals shying away from the old saying that "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and instead embracing intermittent fasting. Many people believe that this technique, not eating for 8-12 hours, helps your body's metabolism reset, and controls insulin. Dr. Oz isn't totally against eating in the morning; he believes that we should have brunch every day of the week, something we can all get behind, especially if there are bottomless mimosas!
Hook's Cheese Co. out of Wisconsin is selling a 20 year aged Wisconsin cheddar for around $209 per pound. This will be the second time the husband and wife duo will have sold this extremely rare cheese. In 2015, they sold a similar cheese for the same price – and it sold out in two days! Don't have $209 to spend on cheese? You might be able to score a slice or two for around $50. The 500-pound wheel will be ready in May.
People are losing their minds over Cooking With Paris, Paris Hilton's new YouTube cooking show. Her first episode shows the socialite making her "world famous" lasagna, using things like "whatever cheese you have," and using a bbq tool for cooking her meat. It's only her first episode, and she's planning on making more, asking her 2 million (yes, the video already has over 2 million views) for suggestions on what to make next. That's hot!
