FAQs

  • How much does the program cost? The program is absolutely free for everyone who is admitted. However, you are required to have the equipment outlined above, as well as, cover the costs associated with the food you’ll need to source to produce the shots required for completing the assignments (this cost is roughly equivalent to grocery shopping for 8 to 9 recipes, 1 serving each)

  • How long does the program take to complete? The course has 10 sections with either a quiz or assignment due on a weekly basis. In total, the course may take up to 10 weeks but you are welcome to move faster if you wish.

  • What if I complete the course but am not offered a role as a freelance photographer? Our goal with this program is to find talented photographers that we can bring on to our team. However, in some cases, we may determine there isn’t a good fit. If this is the case, we hope that you’ll use the assets you produced, training, experience and knowledge gleaned from the course to build out your portfolio and continue on your journey as a food photographer. If you’d like to be reconsidered for a role with us, you may reach back out in 90 days with your updated portfolio and cover letter.
